Chinese artist Liu Bolin paints people to blend in with their surroundings. Its pretty crazy.  In this one below in particular, I have a hard time grasping the fact that he almost looks translucent.

There is more written about him here, but I think that my favorite line that he says sums up his reasoning behind his work.  “In the environment of emphasizing cultural heritage, concealment is actually no place to hide.”
